Yes, Buddy Cakes are made in a completely top 7 allergen free and is an “almost” top 8 free kitchen! Our kitchen is free of all nuts EXCEPT for coconut which the FDA classifies as a tree nut. We use the strictest standards for cleaning our machines and kitchen as safety is our top priority! Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns; we understand 100%!:)
Although we do not have the official gluten free certification, our cakes and frosting have been put through testing and far exceed the official requirements to be labeled “gluten free”.

Yes, any liquid will work as the liquid is needed for activating the rising ingredients in the cakes. We have used coffee in the chocolate, orange juice and other liquids which all work fine! (Various liquors work well too….don’t judge?)
Our cakes and frosting have been tested up to 9 months shelf life. In order to ensure the freshness, please store in a cool dry area.
Our frosting is more of a paste because we use pure clean, minimal ingredients. To keep them shelf stable, we do not add additional liquid to thin them out. Once placed on the hot cake, however, they melt and transform into the most delicious gooey frosting that we have been told is a guilty “squeeze snack” of its own!
